XTOUCH-mini CONTROLLER SCRIPT
for BITWIG STUDIO

introduction
Here is my version of the controller script for the Behringer XTOUCH-mini.

Installation
1) Download the script here.
2) Copy the downloaded script, into the proper location (depends on your OS):

On Windows: %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Bitwig Studio\Extensions\

On Mac: ~/Documents/Bitwig Studio/Extensions/

On Linux: ~/Bitwig Studio/Extensions/
3) Start or restart your Bitwig Studio.
WHAT TO KNOW

The device must be in "MC mode". See documentation here page 14/15, section "Mackie Control Mode".

This script has been tested only with Windows 10 & Bitwig 2.2.3 (demo).

The big slider is reserved for future used.

In the Bitwig Studio>Settings> Controllers>Settings device section, you can adjust the "Blink speed".

The script focus on the Bitwig Studio "Device Panel" section.

The device "LAYER A" button is mapped to Bitwig Studio "Restore Automation Control" button.

The device "LAYER B" button is mapped to Bitwig Studio "Automation Write (Arranger)" button.

The device first row of buttons is mapped to the Bitwig Studio devices of the current track:

If the light is "on", a device is present and you can press the button to select it.

If the light is "blinking", this device is currently selected.
-
Only the first 8 devices are represented.

When you click the selected device (blinking), you access additional parameters (vol, pan, and several send fx).

The device second row of buttons is mapped to the parameters pages available for the current device:

If the light is "on", a parameters page is present and you can press the button to select it.

If the light is "blinking", this parameters page is currently selected.

Only the first 8 parameters pages are represented.

The device 8 encoder knobs are mapped to the current parameters of the current parameters page of the current device:

If the light is "off", there is no parameter.

If the lignt is "on", there is a parameter.
-
Turn to left/right the knobs to adjust parameters.
-
Press a knob to reset the parameter.
